Mind & Body Wellness

The International Mind & Body Wellness Week 2026–2027 is a weeklong celebration of wellness, food, nature, culture, creativity, community, and local livelihood. It will be held from December 26, 2026 to January 3, 2027 in Calatagan, Batangas.

The event is envisioned as a collaborative community-wide wellness celebration that brings together resorts, restaurants, wellness practitioners, local artisans, schools, fisherfolk, environmental partners, government agencies, tourism stakeholders, families, and visitors.

Through this initiative, St. Michael Health & Wellness Center Corp. seeks to help position Calatagan as a wellness destination—a place where people can rest, reconnect with nature, enjoy healthy food, participate in meaningful activities, support local businesses, and experience the beauty of community life by the sea.

The International Mind & Body Wellness Week aims to:

  1. Promote Calatagan as a wellness, nature, food, and cultural destination.
  2. Encourage healthy living through movement, nutrition, mindfulness, preventive health, and community education.
  3. Support local restaurants, resorts, artisans, wellness practitioners, fisherfolk, and small businesses.
  4. Create opportunities for interagency collaboration and community health education.
  5. Highlight Calatagan’s natural beauty, marine environment, heritage sites, and local culture.
  6. Encourage family wellness, youth participation, women’s involvement, and senior citizen engagement.
  7. Promote environmental stewardship through coastal awareness and mangrove planting.
  8. Strengthen tourism partnerships among resorts, restaurants, community groups, and local government agencies.
  9. Provide a platform for Calatagan-made wellness products, organic items, handmade crafts, and local food.
